Moving from Excel or another program

Most programs export their lists as Excel. Four files are enough:

• Vehicles: plate, VIN, make, model, year, mileage, purchase price and date, asking price.
• Customers: name, phone, identity or tax number if any.
• Opening balances: who, how much, and which way.
• Open instalment notes: customer, due date, amount.

The order

1. Bring in the customers first.
2. Then the vehicles; make and model names are matched to the catalogue by likeness.
3. After that the opening balances and the open notes.
4. Enter the opening balance of your cash and bank accounts by hand.

Each import lists the faulty rows with the reason; the last import can be undone within 24 hours. Open a ticket where you get stuck and we will look at your file together.
