STEP BY STEP GUIDE · Cash and accounts

Cash, collections and closing the day

Where money is entered, and why the balance adds up.

Cash and accounts · Last updated: 09.10.2026

When you enter a sale, a purchase, a deposit or a cost, the cash and account entries are made for you; you never write the same money twice.

  • Collecting and paying: from or to whom, into which account, against what.
  • Counting the cash: enter what you counted; a difference is recorded with a reason.
  • Closing the day: once closed, the day takes an entry only from somebody allowed, with a reason.

No money record is ever deleted; a wrong one is cancelled and reversed.
